Im looking to get a set of 16x7.5 kosei k1's with a 32 offset on 205/45's. Im trying to figure out if i would run in to problems running that offset and width. I do have a front and rear camber kit, so i could run some more negative camber if i have to. What issues do you see me haveing, and what will i have to do to resolve them?
1: the problem is the width 7.5
2: the problem is the offset
3: the tire size
to make it work even with all that problem is to run a 205/40r16. even with that tire size it may rub on the fender when you hit a bump. or it may rub on the inner fender when you make a turn. hope that helps

You say this is for an EK ('97-00 Civic) chassis. It's also a '97-00 Civic body, correct? If so, 205/40-16 is too small; that's the size for older Civics. You need 205/45-16, which is the right tire size for your car. And most tires in 205/45-16 are approved for mounting on wheels 6.5-7.5 inches wide. So the tire size and the wheel width are fine. You just need to make sure the wheels have the proper offset for your car. (I don't know if +32 is okay on your '97 Civic or not.)
If you're mixing the chassis from one model and year with the body of another, you'll have to figure it out for yourself, or find someone else who's done that.

dood the reason i told him the 40's is due to the fact that its a 7.5 rim with a +32.... with teh 45 series he will have to rom more camber

ek chasis/body. I know that people run 7.5, and i understand that id have to run a smaller sidewall. Id rather not run 40's, id like to stick with 45's. Im at close to stock ride height but have adjustable camber all around. I was just hopeing for someone with a simmillar setup to chime in.
the problem is the offset and the width of the wheel. a 35mm offset with a 7 inch wide wheel sit almost flush with the fender so now add another .25 on the width and another 1.5mm on the outside.........
Okay, so what you're saying is that the offset positions the wheel/tire too far out from the car. (I would NEVER use camber to adjust for that. Camber should be used to adjust for handling and tire wear, not to make a tire fit.)
Based on the offset, I wouldn't get those wheels. And it has nothing to do with the tire size.

Tire size does play a role when someone wants to use the wrong offset for there vehicle because they don't know any better. That is why he is asking here instead of making that mistake and also finding out info if he decides to make that decision to use that application on his vehicle!!!!!!!!!!!!
