Default 2000 Prelude problem

last night in my prelude I downshifted into to low of a gear and the rpms shot all the way past redline so i threw in the clutch really quick and then the car stalled. I now have a check engine light and the ATTS light. It runs but it doesnt idle. any thoughts?

im not sure exactly what the problem is, so i wont say, but i know if you shifted into that low of a gear your rpm's probably went well above 9500-10000 rpm's. rev limiters dont even matter at that point. you might have floated a valve, but im not sure...

Sounds like a classic case of bent valves.
