wasn't terrible, dent on the hood not noticeable unless you get close dent on the door unless you get close and scratches on the hood , only reason they don't show is because of the color, silver blue metallic.

is it stick our auto...the color is a cheap color therefore it goes for less....um that seems like a reasonable deal as long as everythings running right..and if u have perfect compression and they did a tune up thats a great ****** deal i wish my engine had 40k

I'd have it checked out before you buy it.

yeah, run it over to a mechanic. They might even look at it for free if you tell them your thinking about buying it.

yeah check out the motor, i think the last time i read about that residue on oil cap it was a leaking headgasket.

the surface scratches and dents can easily be fixed.

for the scratches:
claybar, wax, polish and it should disappear

for the dent:
either get it un-dinged
or get a can of that aerosol CO2 or w/e, turn it upside down and it sprays out super cold liquid. heat up the dented area with a heat gun or blowdryer (don't burn the paint tho), after it gets hot, spray the co2 stuff and it should pop back out.

good luck on the buy

That was my first thought, too. I'd definitely get it checked out at a shop, though. Whatever is causing the whitish residue ought to be fixed, in my opinion, and the cost to get that fixed can be used to further bargain on the price.

u can gouge even deeper into the price by the inconvenience it will cause AND that the damage can't be assessed, so it COULD be 1000$ worth of damage when it's probably gonna be 2-300.

well it's kinda hard to get it checked out by a mechanic since the car is in jersey and i live in PA unless i find a mechanic in jersey. But i can i say i'm pretty car knowledge able, but if there isn't something i do not know i will ask, like the whitish residue in the oil cap, and THANKS AGAIN i found out what it could be and not be 1) short trips not letting the car warm up to normal temp or 2) blown head gasket.
I did look at the dipstick and seemed well even though when i went to look at the car it was dark, i'll make sure next time i check it out it is DAYLIGHT
The sales guy let me test drive it he didn't even rush me, gave me a dealer plate and let me drive and look over the car on my own (i guess that's a good sign) ALso i drove the car drove smoooth didn't have a chance to take on the jersey t-pike, fans kicked in, idled well. i did stick my finger in the oil filler hole looking for engine sludge and it was sorta thick which leads me to believe lack of oil change.
The sales guy himself said the body damage could cost around a grand to fix and aslo the car is a stick i wouldn't bother with and auto, and also the clutch felt good good shifting, sunroof works, one non- working tail lamp. Speaking of brake/tail lamp doen't preludes have a indicator on the dash if you have a bad tail lamp, cause i know my accord had it as i'm new to preludes not sure if they do or not. ok i'm done
