there are three phillips head screws that hold the cap on and one phillips head screw that hold the rotor on. the distr. is designed so you cant but the rotor and cap back on wrong. its really easy to do

Take plug wires off cap, remember where they go, unscrew cap, unscrew the one screw for the rotor, slide rotor off, then replace with new parts. Very simple.
