Hi all,

I just received my Garrett boost gauge and it has 3 wires. One is power, one is the ground and the third one is for it to light up at night.

I want to know what I should wire this one to. The radio in my civic si does not have a wire for the dimmer from wiring diagrams I have seen so that won't work.

What wire would be the easiest to get to, and whats the color/location?

i hooked mine up to my guage light dimmer switch so whenever u turn ur lights on it will turn the guage on hope this helps

 

is there only 1 wire going to the dimmer?

If I remember properly you can just pop the dimmer button out and expose the wire(s) right?

from what I read on here their are 3 wires for the dimmer a black ground a red dimmer wire and a red/black that is the constant 12v and that's the one that should be tapped as the red will invert the dimming effect in the gauge versus the cluster lights right?
