Rest assure that 01 Type R #862 is in good hands. Picked it up yesterday from, get this, a Honda dealership. Already had Sprint springs, AEM cold air, Magnacor wires, and clear bumper lenses. It handles wonderfully and is just as quick. I am 100% happy. Now i understand what u guys are talking about. Pics are coming soon.

Well as of now i dont have a pic yet. The color is phenoix yellow and its a 2001 #862. I will eventually change the springs and get some struts. I paid a little more than i should have but i really wanted it. It wasn't too bad though i got it for $22,500. What spring/strut combo should i go with? All info will be appreciated and thanx for the welcome. I will talk to u guys later.

 

i would recomend koni shocks , with spoon springs ....if coilovers are you fancy , i know Tein makes a nice set

CONGRATULATIONS, It's good to see a Type R went to a good home

 

Yellow is cool! FBP ITR's are rare in my neck of the woods. $22k isn't too bad. Low miles? As far a suspension is concerned you'll have to ask yourself what you'll be doing with the car. The stock set-up is really fine for most. I recently made the switch from mainly autocrossing to track events. So now my R is sitting on jack stands waiting for new BuddyClub coil-overs. They'll be overkill for the street but I'll have great adjustability for the track which is where the car will now spend most of it's time.
