Default Skunk2 Intake Manifold Question

theres a hole on the I/M, opposite side on where the throttle body should be placed, is that suppose to be covered up? or are all S2 intake comes like that?

It should have a plug in there, like a brass/steel freeze plug.

i went to advance auto, got a thick rubber freeze plug.. fits snug. it shouldn't effect performance, should it?

I doubt it will effect performance as long as it doesn't start deteriorating and pieces don't get sucked into the head.
