Default Underhood Fuse box

So I've looked around, can't really find any answers, do these fuse boxes go bad? I have a 90 rex and the starter is good and the battery is good and the relays between the ignition and the starter are good, but my car won't start. The relay under the dash will click like a madman but it won't turn over, but if I drive for about an hour then turn the car off it'll start right up if I go to crank it again right away. Any ideas? I've replaced everything but the wires between the fuse box and the key lock. Thanks

Could have a dead cell in your battery not allowin t to properly hold a charge. Hard to tell w/o more info but I have seen batterys cause what your explaining.

Well the battery is good, I checked its charge, it holds one, and I put a 70amp crank current to it and the car still didn't turn over, the underhood fuse box is also good, I swapped it out with a known good one and still the same symptoms. I

tried to bypass the ignition circuit by running a lead from the (+) terminal straight to the solenoid and I could hear the solenoid click and the motor engage but not turn. This is odd as it is the same symptoms all my other starters had but I know this starter was/is good because I had it tested before I left the store the last time.

In the fuse box, the wire that is next to the one that comes off the battery closest to the firewall, is that one the same one that connects to the solenoid? Maybe there is too much corrosion? I don't know, any help is appreciated, thanks.

the reason I suggested trying a new battery is because your symptoms are the exact same as a bad battery. I know you say it held a charge but if it will not start the car then how can you be sure?

Just to make sure yours is good, install a KNOWN good one to rule that out. Based on all normal test, your battery can say "good" but still not start your car because of a bad cell. I have seen this more than a few times and wasted SOOO much time diagnosing because the batt tested good for me too, replaced it and no more problems!

if it's not your battery.............well then good luck.
