SEARCH in the FAQ at the top of this forum, and you will find a post created on doing this swap (aka mini-me swap)

Please be aware, if your car is a CX, the Vtec head may not work, Please check my Write-up as I dunno if 93's have 4 valve pistons if its a CX

i think you will also need to get oil jets from a vtec engine if you were to use the z6 head

Talk = End.

The oil jets are there on all Z6, Z1, and B7 blocks, you just have to pull the plug out on B7 blocks.

I'm pretty damn sure you're right, but not positive.

There's an engine stamp to the left of the exhaust header (when looking at the engine from the front), on the vertical axis of where the engine meets the transmission. It's a rectangular extrude from the engine block.

D15B8 is the CX's 8 valve motor.
D15B7 is the DX/LX's 16 valve motor (more up to par for a mini-me swap)

I don't know if it'll work on a B8 block, but if you have a B7 block, it'll work fine for sure.

Here's the write-up for the '92-'95 mini-me how-to.

Ima have to disagree with the 'more up to par' part, The B7 and B8 Blocks are identical, The B8 at one point just switched to 8 valve pistons (The bore and stroke are the same)

MAIN diffrence would be the tranny as the CX tranny is even wider gearing than the DX/LX.
