Default noob question - is this compressor good enough?

Looking into getting a compressor to start teaching myself how to paint on my project car... going to do an integra in the long run, but it can be part by part. Is this one any good or do i need more power? BTW, I dont have a paint gun yet, so maybe id have to use a hvlp or some other gun based on the power? any input is appreciated. TIA

id say its too weak to paint, but you can get by. i use a craftsman 15 gallon 1.5 hp and i do whole cars, but it lags like hell. if anything dont get a craftsman. its ****. loud as hell too. get something with more hp and more cfm.

if you want to paint your car nicely aim for something around 50 gallons or so more is better in this case and a good filtration system for the oil and moisture cheers

If you want to be able to paint/clear a whole car or many parts at once you will most likely need a big *** 2 stage, 220 volt compressor.

minimum requirement for a proper paintjob should be 7.5 hp 60 gallon 2 stage 220v copressor.

anything smaller then that will take along time for the compressor to build up air and the longer it takes the weaker the gun is and the weaker it is the shittier the paint.

mind you i have done paintjobs with 2.5 hp compressors and it came out amazing (just not worth the time and alot of waste material while painting). the shittier the compressor the more materials you will be wasting ie. clear, base etc...
