Default how to block primer?

I was wondering, i painted my crx a month ago with no prior body work experience, and the curved areas on my car(fenders and quarter panels) came out kinda wavy, I'm guessing from how i blocked the primer. I used a 12 inch block with 320 grit, and then i sprayed a sealer.

whats the best way to sand curved surfaces?
thanks
