Default trading 97 h22a4 for 96 h22a?

well, i have a guys that is eager to get his hands on my 97 h22a4 open deck block, and trade me for his 96 h22a closed deck block, he said the only reason he wants to do it is because my block has the external crank position sensor, he is putting it in a 97 accord so he wants it as stock as possible,. Now aside from the block strength differences, is there any thing i should be worried about? he has type S pistons on his block and so do i. Im i wining or loosing on this trade? the reason i ask is because all the subjects i search on here favor either block. opinions?

the 96 engine also has the oil pump sensors jsut like the 1997, personally if your engine runs well i wuld keep it.
