In reference to what the Cincy guy asked up above:
Blizzaks are expenisve, but so are most snow tires.. You can get the same performance from a cheaper set (such as hankooks). The main thing about snow tires is they are built to grip in below freezing temps which is accomplished by the tires being made of a much softer compound compared to your everyday all-seasons / summer tires.

I actually got them off tirerack for $56 a piece plus shipping on closeout which I didn't think was too bad at all. The deal is still going on I believe. Haven't gotten any snow to test em out yet, which I'm definitely fine with haha. It's so weird, feels like I'm riding on rubber bands compared to my summer tires.
