its not about how much money you have, as long as you have more than the people around you.

And in countries like the ones in South America, where aprox 70-80% of the population is very poor, the remaining 20% are sure to have more money than most.

Interesting.

Didn't realize they were making DOHC XR250Rs now.

It's an brazilian made bike, specifically for the Latin America market, it's called "Tornado" as you can see.

DOHC, aprox 23HP...it's a very popular bike in Brazil, they love it down there.

That yellow CBX250 thing is using the same DOHC air-cooled engine. That looks like it would make a neat commuter.

The gray "NX" in the background of the CBR1000F shots is also using an XR-series engine . . . looks like a 400 or 600?

Yes, it's basically a CBF250 but since 2001 (I believe) they are made in Brazil and then exported to other countries. It's called "Twister", and it's VERY popular bike in Brazil.

In 2006 Yamaha came out with it's closest competitor, it's called Fazer 250, it's a single cilinder, but it has electronic injection...a novelty for bikes of this category.

It's a NX4 Falcon, 400cc. It's like the big brother of the Tornado, also made by Honda Brasil.

Here's one motarded...SuMo conversions are pretty popular in Brazil now, they're doing to any model of dualsports, from the little ones to the +600's.
