Clarkson said new civic type R is rubbish! (i prefer the old than the new type R btw )

the jdm type r is the fd2.

the only thing that makes me unhappy with the new civic is the weight
anyway.its a good car for sure

Whatever 18000 british lbs. equates to in American dollars (probably mid 20s)......i'm sure for that price tag they could have made the car a little better.

Actually, it works out to about $36,500 at today's exchange rate.

eff that! I'd rather get the JDM Type R. THat rear torsion bar is the killer. But the fact that the UK type R and the USDM Si are rated at the same power unlike the jdm's 220 hp (rated at the crank) doesnt help at all.- Especially since the EP3 TYPE R had basically the same power but lighter. GOD i wish we woulda got the ep3 type r.

WTF? the EK9 type R Owning both? ARE YOU SERIOUS?

I think it would have done well actually. Part of the reason Top Gear hated the Type R soo much is because they expected it to be better than the previous gen. Type R hatch. And sadly it's not.

Word !!! I wonder why they never do that....imo the ep3-R is a lemon compared to the ek9 type R.
