It will fit but a Y8 is an OBD2 alternator. The plug is different. You can swap your round, obd1, plug over to the square OBD2 style one and be good to go though.

I thought i read somewere that the lower bracket was different. But i went and looked at my EK and EG and there the same. The Eg one is alum
