Default 6th Gear hidden potential

Just a thought but i guess everyone hear who actually owns an 06+ Si and doesnt drive like a ***** should know that max speed for this car is accomplished in 5th not 6th gear. Ive heard stories that people hit vtec in 6th on the highway....but im assume its dreaming kids. Going down the side of a mountain doesnt count either.
So other then that, our engines arent delivering enough torque to redline or even hit vtec in 6th. Its was a aurprise to me but makes sense considering the final gear is for "highway" fuel economy not racing. So we have to settle for 5th gear redline which takes u to somewhere in the 134-136mph range. Ive thought about getting a shorter final gear. All these people who have put turbo kits on their si or a supercharger u dont get to see much besides a revving engine a possible some numbers if ur lucky. So my question is, how much more power would it take to be able to redline 6th and achieve corvette like speeds. Would ur typical 7 psi boost kit be enough.....maybe a 75 shot.

With FI the car is a beast. It depends on the mods on top of the turbo kit. If it's just turbo with stock everything else, doubt it.

pretty sure top speed is 133 on the si's. check youtube, they pulled it on a dyno 6th gear limits BEFORE VTEC.

Your wording and approach to achieve a logical discussion here is pretty null with calling users pussies or noting that people with forced induction are not making power in 6th gear.

Especially spoken from someone who doesn't own that setup OR has probably ever even been in one.

If you'd like to repost the question in a civil nature go ahead.
