i'm building an lsvtec. I disassembled my ls block a while back now and i'm putting it together now. This part goes between the block and the crank. But the thing is; I don't know where exactly. Can anyone help me where they go or give me directions to where i could find out where in pictures and writing??...

there your thrust bearings. they control the crank endplay. right off the top of my head i think they go at the #3 main bore on the block. u should see a groove on either side where they slide in. make sure you check the clearances
