1) he buys back his shell, but then replaces everything with cheap stuff.
2) he knows his engines, he knows too much to be a dummy.
...so why would a itr owner do this?
sounds like his friends might have jacked it for him, sold the parts, claimed insurance, gotten over 35k for the car, bought the frame back for 2k and dumped 4k on the car and wants to sell it to an unsuspecting victim for 15k

I bet he even killed the person who previously owned it. Maybe they are still wrapped up in the trunk 
Obviously it's a salvaged title. It was stolen, but that doesn't mean the person who stole it is reselling it...could be the dealership..
