Quick question forr the guys using the CK gas saver lense . How much gas are you setting the flow for ? I ordered a standard and large . Same gas flow for both ?

Where did you order yours from?

I need a place that is Canadian friendly (doesn't charge $100 to ship).

 

I drop my gas from 19 CFH to 10 CFH.

Im using the standard not the large.

 

I just ordered it from my local Praxair guy .... didnt ask the price but he is good to me anyway . Sounds good being able to cut the gas that much . Thanks for the help .

Praxair can get them? They must not keep them stocked because I always buy my other torch parts there and have never seen gas savers.

Where do you buy your filler? I've been going crazy ever since this WHMIS thing came out. I can't afford to buy 5 or 10lb. boxes of every type/size filler I need.

 

Our Praxair guy handles CK , wasnt a problem but had to be ordered . I bought a roll of .045 wire and some 1/16 rod from a Miller dealer near by . They will sell any amount of filler rod , sold by the pound .

Was it a smaller independant type welding shop or was it from one of the big3 (praxair, air liquide, boc)?

It's been a year now since they have stopped selling filler by the pound at the places down here.
