how do you fix oxidized paint?
lots of buffing compound, polish and wax.....it takes time and wont always look perfect afterwards, depending on how bad the oxidation is. it will look better than it did though........and yes there is difference between polish and wax
A good compounding and polish will do wonders.
If you can get a hold of some Menzerna Super Intensive Polish applied by a rotary or DA with a yellow or orange pad, you'll be golden. If you only looking to get rid of the oxidation, you can use a white pad.

drysand with 1200 DA or 800 wet and then use g3 compound with a highspeed buffer at 3000 rpm's and then use g10 with the same buffer and use 3m liquid polish and it will look brand new aslong as it didnt burn through the clear.
