Default Wrecked my RSx.......

I was getting out a club, few drinks, way too tired and got on a long dark quiet highway, and i fell asleep and next thing i know i wake up with blood in my face, windshield smashed, i get out and my front end is fked up i hit a light pole......highway patrol was cool and sent me to the hospital. Next day i see the damage and well it was a clean hit right down the middle, did not touch frame, i was saved by the reinforcement bar and radiator , it did go as far back as to touch the intake manifold but no mayor damage back there, i hit problaby around 40 to 50 mph, so either way, ive been having problems getting a front bumper and reinforcement bar, and fans, i already got a radiator, headlights and fenders, so maybe someone here has or knows where i can get the fans, reinforcement bar and front bumper i have an 02, thanks

Why would you come on to this forum and not even ask a question but just make a statment about your crappy driving, stupidness, irresponsible person you are. Please do us a favor and dont post such stupid things. I hope you enjoy your f**ked up car and that fact that your an idiot. Only if you would have been going alil faster you might have been another statistic instead of the 5 year old kid and her family that get killed by stupid F**KS!

I dunno why everyone is flipping on you...2 drinks isnt enough too affect that much anyway you must have been in legal limit or proved the difference anyway good luck with the rebuild...just call local scrap yards

yeah they probably cant read, 2 beers didnt do jack but the time it self 2am on a long straight dark highway did knock me out, highway patrol was understandful im sure he sees it all the time, and im sure he can tell the difference with a drunk driver and a sleepy one, but either way yeah ive looked all over online to find the front bumper and reinforcement bar and ive been having problems, none of the local junkyards have an rsx and if they do they are front end collision, but maybe i thought someone here had something in their garages, but ill keep on looking, ill post pics later today

too hard on HIM????

too hard on all the innocent teens, friends, family, etc...
I've seen too many killed by "Alcohol" to even drink any alcohol and drive within 4-5 hours...
it's just Not worth it!

so,
HOW many times must we tell you young whipper snappers...
if your Driving,
1 DRINK IS TOO MANY!

...let alone being tired!

(IMHO) ALCOHOL + DRIVING = STUPID (+ Sleepy!!!)
i kinda feel sorry for the light pole (last i heard they cost around $4,000 to replace around here!)

Chalk it up to experience ...and you LEARNING YOUR LESSON!
... i suspect Your Guardian Angel Saved you!

NOW Don't become a REPEAT offender!
(then I'll have to bring out some of my more gorey memories of kids dragged under a truck and crap like that- i don't want to go there, but alcohol has been my nemesis all my life!)

and i'm glad your ok! ...God Bless,
Happy Thanksgiving!

regardless of how many drinks you have had if you was to get into an accident with another person (luckily for you it was a pole) YOU would of been at 100% fault. Even if the person hit you, because you had alcohol in your system you atuomaticlly become the person at fault.

PLEASE PLEASE Don't drink and drive. Call a friend call someone.. that's just pure stupidity to drink and drive whether it be 1 drink or half of one drink. Now you've got an expensive lesson and hopefully you don't repeat history.
