Default quick ecu question

I'm finishing up my f22/h23 and I want to make sure that I'm using the correct stock ecu. I'll upgrade for tuning in the spring when I get a turbo kit together, but for now, all stock.

Now, is it ok to use the p14 H23 ecu, since the F22 bottom has the H23 dohc head? After doing a little googling, I found a list that says a stock F22 ecu is a P0A obd0? Not familiar with that at all.

thanks

If you are using the stock h23 intake manifold then it would be better to use the p14 since it would control the iabv. Also I think the h23 fuel map would be better than the f22 one but I can't say for certain. I don't know of any other issues that you would have. To my knowledge the f22 doesn't have any more sensors than the h23.

thanks

well i know i'd probably throw a code because the F22 doesn't have a KS, but i'm going to do what a few guys on here said, install the KS at the alternator bracket temporarily until i upgrade my ecu/tuning option.
