After i finished hooking evrything up and finished the swap i cranked the motor and it started after shooting a ball of flame through the intake. probably from the octane booster it had on an empty tank. After filling the tank the motor started again but sounded like it was running on 3 cylinders. i pull out a spark plug wire to put the correct firing order and the car shut off. after properly setting the firing order the motor will not start and there is no spark. changed the distributor and now i have spark but very poor. BTW its a obd2 gsr distibutor with a obd p75 on obd0 injectors. i need help asap. thanks in advance. the car wont start now. grounds are in place.

 

i hope u didnt try to pull the wires while the engine was running, sounds like u blown your ignition coil and ignitor or even worst your ecu. i would change coil first n see what happens

 

i changed the distributor and got my spark back. the spark plugs are drowned in gas. My father told me to disconnect the main relay and crank the motor for a couple seconds so that all the gas can be burned or something like that. sometimes the motor is about to start but it just dies and keeps turning over but no start.

 

check your ground on your thermostat housing, when ever you have a spark problem on a honda always check that first.

Are you running obd0 injectors on an obd1 ecu?

 

yup. it cranked up and the car was running until i pulled that distributor plug. i dont know y the injectors would be a problem

 

sounds like a timing issue to me.if it is popping and shooting flameballs from the intake..

 

Are you running the resistor box with those injectors?

 

yes im still using the resistor box. And there is no more flame ***** it was just before it started the first time. i know the firing order is correct 100 %. the motor turns and its right about to start but it dies. it kills my battery after a while of trying to start it. I tried push starting it but it wont start either.
