Default EK3 OBD2/DLC connector location?

Hi everyone,

I'm going crazy because no matter how much I look, I can't seem to find the DLC/OBD2 16pin plug on my EK.

I looked under the driver's side dash but came out empty handed. Can anyone give a a clear description (color, relative location to other components such as the fuse box, etc) or maybe post a picture? I'd really appreciate it.

The only thing I found that was vaguely similar to an OBD2 connector was this:

It is behind the left kick panel and bolted to the car so I couldn't get it out. Could it be?

There might be a little label describing where the DLC is on the bottom side of the steering column... Try that.

There is one label saying "check your service manual". But the manual does not give a precise location.

Help appreciated!

I can't find it... What color is it? Is it protected by a cap or something?

Thanks.

Should be straight above the hood release handle pointing straight down. It will be the normal D shaped OBD2 port.

The piece you have pictured is the grounding junction block.

Thanks Ryan.

But it just isn't there.
This is how it looks like:

Could my 97 EDM EK3 be OBD1 or something?

Things are starting to look ugly.

Just like this guy with a 98 EDM CRV, I can only find the 2 and 3 pin blue connectors next to the ECU.

I saw this 3 pin to 16 pin adaptor on eBay... I wonder if that will give me full OBD2 functionality?

I came to the sad conclusion that EDM EKs weren't equipped with OBD2 connectors. Or at least my 97 isn't.

It's on the right side of the car, close to the ECU.

I'm pretty sure there is no DLC on the EDM models.

Honda Civic 97 has 3 pin DLC connector and 2 pin SCS connector, for OBDII advantage we need 3 pin to OBD-II adaptor cable.

If anyone can find out the availablity in pakistan, then please do let me know. or if anyone found another solution to OBDII for honda then do me a favor too, pls.
