i have a 1991 civic hatcback with a b18a1 swap. my problem is witht he car running i can pull my 1st and 4th sparkplug wire out and the car dies down , but when i pull out the 2nd and 3rd it doesnt die down that much. what could be the problem, the plugs are about a week old and the wires are brand new also.
when you took the wire out did you take the out one at a time? you may have 2 & 3 backwards on the dist. or you may have faulty plugs or wires. here is what i would do. check the firing order 1 3 4 2. make sure you didn't get the new wires mixed up. if that doesn't fix it. did it run like that when you did the tune up? if it didn't i would try all the old parts out and see what happens.
