Default A little help please.

Okay, I'm working on the front suspension. Taken all the necessary bolts off. The stock struts and shocks are loose and is free from the fork mount.

The problem is that the top middle part of the shock seems like it not fit through the hole. (The one between the two 14mm bolts). Can someone help me. I've read some write up and they said is should just fall through, is that true? Is there anything I can do to make it come off easier, besides using a hammer and pounding it through.

It should just fall out once everything is removed properly. If you have to beat it out...then there is a serious issue. Just step back and take a look at what you are doing, and use common sense. Good luck

If you have taken out the bolt behind the fork, which it seems you have already. The shock should just fall through, after you take off the 2 top hat nuts.. do Not remove the center nut with allen head in the center.

I just kind of figured you knew this, but do not remove the center nut like Swig said. You need to take the two 14 mm nuts off not the middle nnut. Good luck
