hey everyone new to the forum... i have a couple of questions????

i was wondering what is the max i could drop before my handling goes to crap?
and what kind of exhaust would some of you recommend??

 

Um... I had mine dropped like lower than 2 inches and I didn't really like it that much. I would stick with like 1.5 inches all the way around? Progressive springs of course.


I really like the Magnaflow exhaust on my EP3. It also has a MEGAN Racing header. It sounds nice and quiet and only gets loud when the pedal is down. Idles silent, never gets raspy at the higher RPMs. Let me know if you want some clips.

 

for Magnaflow. They make great resonators that eliminate rasp. Yeah, a ~1.7 drop is great for the EP.

Yeah I didn't mention it but I have a resonator on my system. It is 2.5 inch piping. Megan racing coated header with the stock cat. I am looking at getting a high flow setup for the cat. The resonator not only looks bad *** but really helps keep the exhaust note in tact at higher RPMs. I will try to get you some clips.

 

Drop it 1.5 inches (easiest is to get good quality lowering springs). I have a Comptech race header and a Skunk2 exhaust system. Sounds great.

1.5 drop for your handling needs. The kind of exaust you want really depends on the sound you like. You should listen to some sound clips before you buy one.

 

hey everyone thanks for all of the help, o and square how much do you have it dropped cause thats the look i want nice and sleek....

 

I have the hfp springs and it's great. p.s. that exhaust looks tit's.

 

Now I'm definately putting my Magnaflow muffler on my EP this spring.

 

HKS Hi-Power with a race header sounds nice and deep . not raspy at all
