Yeah, some kid just sold his hybrid hatch and really wants my ITR. My roommate is moving out next month and I'm hurting for $$. My hatch is fugged up right now or I'd consider selling it instead, but I wouldn't get shiat the way it sits right now. Looks like #477 might be going away. I will keep you all posted.

Yeah, but my hatch is in no position to be sold. Not to mention I would have to daily drive my ITR if I did sell my hybrid (at a real loss). I'm driving my ITR more now right now, but I couldn't imagine daily driving it.

4) Omaha winters (boy do the suck...all the salt/chlorine/sand layed down)

Try to make ends meet, find another roomate, move, do something to hold onto the R. Oh yeah, theft is one of the reasons they invented Insurance I just recently decided to quit worrying about theft and just drive my car and enjoy it, especially since it's summer now. I drive it everywhere, work, mall I don't give a **** anymore.

You could daily drive the R Todd. Ive done so in my Si for 2 years and shes still beautiful. All it takes is a little extra detailing work and such. Winters aren't so bad either. Just slap on steelies and blizzacks.

but i do see where you are coming from on theft. Unfortunately that has become a major worry for all type R owners Its even become a worry for me, since I park my Si downtown Monday-Friday during the summer

 

Yeah, yeah I have insurance. I don't know. The thought of having to post MY story like everyone elses' here in the ITR forum about how their car got stolen...then finding it later kills me.

Yes theft is becoming a concern even here in the cornfields. A Civic Si was stolen in a very busy part of town about 2 months ago. Never found. I could only assume it was stripped and chopped up.

Vandalism is a very big concern for me as well. The local rednecks don't like imports here. A bunch of fucken haters.

 

I was in the same predicament as you 2 years ago. I sold my ITR. I have a ITR powered hatch and its fun (In a different kind of way). I don't miss the payments or the threat of theft. Its cheaper to insure, easier to keep lowkey (From Popo and theives).

I wouldn't tell you to sell the car, there were other things that lead me to sell mine, but man do I miss my car (Until I see what the next owners did to it and all I want to do is rape that thing now).

Selling the car won't be so bad (Besides there will be other things to play with by the time you get out of school (EVO, WRX STi, Maybe a RSX-R or CTR).

great in the winter and summer, no need to worry about theft, cheap insur, and cheap payments, more room, and more potential to make it fast plus AWD

Well...the Vegas trip was planned out WAY in advance. I couldn't and didn't back out. I've been hoping I could find a roommate at some point along the way and it hasn't happened.

A WRX in the future is a possibility.

My stock ITR still has the stock exhaust.

Looks like I'm keeping the ITR for now. The guy flaked out on me.
