Default itb vacuum setup?

i currently have the golden eagle vacuum manifold (came with the itb's when i bought them) but have been reading that it may be the reasoning behind some tip in issue with the map sensor readings.

im debating what to do, since im switching from crome over to neptune, which one of my possible tuners has said will mostly be a tps based tune and not so much map.

so what is everyone running for a vac manifold? and whats your input on a map vs tps based tune?

With TPS based maps, MAP sensor tip in will be a non-issue. TPS based maps generally work better for ITB's.

so if i stick to full tps maps, should i bother making anything other than the golden eagle setup?

i spoke with a fellow itb user and he just made a setup with some 3' pvc pipe.

I told you how i had it setup, run a line from the box to the map sensor and thats it, you can adjust your "tip-in" via crome or neptune, they have a table for it, i had mine from 1.0 to 1.8 for tipin and it was fine u will need to tune that.

oh yeah i know, i was planning on it i was just curious due to all the mention of the golden eagle piece not being large enough, and d-rob had changed over to something larger, and since we have an almost identical setup, and will have the same tuner, i just figured i would check into some opinions.
