high idle after cleaning throttle body...HELP PLease
about a week ago i cleaned my throttle body and ever since then my idle is really high between 2-3k. ive been reading through all kinds of topics that ive searched on h-t and yesterday i cleaned th IACV and still i have this high idle. if im coming to a red light and take the car out of gear the rpms will stay @ 2-3k if i blip the gas pedal they will fall and idle just like normal....its almost like the butterfly is sticking just a hair ....any suggestions....can i put any lubrication where the butterfly closes @.....any suggestions would be appreciated

when u cleaned it did u take it off or leave it on car? if u took it off did u use new gasket?? did u unplug the Idle air control valve when u did this? what did u use to clean it and how? did u mix the tps and map sensor plugs up? any check engine codes?
i took it off the car....reused old gasket....and i unplugged the iacv and reset the ecu after.....the throttle isnt sticking anymore but i have that annoying idle surge almost like a vaccuum leak...but i cant seem to find one.....can the iacv cause some sort of leak?
get a new gasket for the TB. if u took it off its prob not gonna seal again with the same one.. and check to make sure u didnt get the sensors soaked in de greaser or somethin. but its prob ur gasket leaking air causing a vac leak the iacv has a rubber o ring gasket.. check to see if its still there if u took it off.
maybe its too dirty inside and stuck in one position? ive had to bypass the iacv b4 sometimes its easier than finding the real problem which alot of things could be causing the idle to fluctuate.. but finding the problem is the right way to go.
i cleaned it twice...one with brake cleaner....and then again with intake cleaner......its surging like i have a vacuum leak or something
