Default HELP with turbo and wastegate on jdm b16a

Hey i have a 1995 eg hatch with a jdm b16a with a t3/t4 63 trim on stock internals(guy i bought from didnt buy forged) at 12lbs now(good to 15lbs) also with hondata s300. I have a turbosmart wastegate, and for some reason the turbo even though it takes a while to hit full boost the the spool sound doenst sound like a normal turbo, it seems its not making any noise at all and the wastegate, idk much about turbosmart wastegates but ik tials when they open up they are really loud but this turbosmart wastegate doesnt seem like its opening up because it doesnt make any noise. The car itself is built right, fuel, intake, exhaust, hondata s300...ect, all it needs its forged internals. Idk if there is something wrong with the turbo or wastegate or if was tuned weird but if someone could help me or give me any ideas that would be great
thanks

is the waistgate vented to the atmosphere or is it routed into the exhaust??

no offence, but it sounds like you bought someone else's project and have no clue how it works

Yeah the wastegate is dumped into the atmosphere. Yeah ik I did, he finished the build for himself but I'm gonna do some more to it.
