Okay guys I'am looking into respraying the EM1 the color is Ebp.I'am hearing alot that waterbase paint is getting more, and more popular
.For what I hear by 2008-2009 waterbase will be mostly used throughout the United states,Due to Solvent urethane paints hurting the ozone layer
.I'am really intrested paint the EM1 with waterbase paint also not to mention that Basf RM makes a cheaper alternative that's waterbase called the ("ONYX HD")(What I love about the waterbase for what I see is that it doesn't leave a texture on your base when you spray your clear),(also is solvent friendly for spot repairs)(and is coming in newer model cars).Anyone hear sprayed with waterbase.Heard the coverage in the basecoat is amazing, also that any painter can spray a area wet, medium wet(As for Urethane base), and a little dry and all will dry super flat like as flat as a glass
.But I have yet to see a waterbase with a metallic/pearl combination. Please any painters here also have any pros or cons about Waterbase paints from experience????????? thanks in advance
