Should i primer my side skirts before i paint them to match factory?

i have heard just scuff and paint and some say prime...what all do you think?

i just did it and it had extrememely bad orange peel...but it could because i was paintingin in 80% humidity and 90 degree weather...

 

yea i would suggest priming it first especially if it was unpainted.

 

yes true the reason might be the heat.......
