ok the head lights on a 02 civic have that little light next to the blinker... there is a little bulb in there its between the blinker and the headlight...does anyone know wtf that light is for?

 

Nope no one really knows, it just comes on when you turn your running lights on.

Running lights or parking lights. If you got your car from Q Branch, it's where the machine guns are.

Its just a parking light/city light.

 

does it bother you that much? i mean one of the bulbs blew out on mine on the passenger side.. i just disconnected them both..

same here..i actually think they look more better without them

acutally mine were not making good connection.....i just hit headlight with my hand and it came on....

i did that for about 5 months for my main beams to come on... just a thud with my palm and they flickered on... works

 

it's a gay city light.. i like the real location of a city light in the main housing... but yeah.. its only there for good ole looks..

 

yea...mine have never came on and me and my wife both drive the same civic (alot of competition...) but hers is the 04 mine is 02 but same engine... and hers doesnt have it...but mine dont come on at all...so i dont kno...lol

 

if its out rteplace the bulb.i got the running light son my jdm headlight on my 04 05

or you can replace them for less then a dollar a pair...

 

So, yeah, i know, I'm a little behind on this thread.

I have the same '02 civ and well, the city light on mine also went out. I do not have a manual so I do not know the size of the bulb. CAN SOMEONE please tell me the bulb I need. I am have a hard time getting the boot out to change my bulb, what's the darn trick?
