Default AEM 19 in 1 Serial Gauge and Tuning Question

Just a simple question and it seems so obvious, but you cant have the aem 19 in 1 Serial Gauge hooked up during tuning can you?

Does a tuner need gauges? Or will he see everything in the Interface of the EMS software.

Only reason I ask is because I want to tidy up my interior and get rid of some gauges and just have the one

If you have 1-3 gauges in front of you and 10+ parameters in small print on a laptop next to you, which would you prefer to monitor to prevent a boost spike?

A gauge isn't needed per se, but I've always found you're far better off having as complete as a setup as you can when you get it tuned.

i doubt the tuner will even take a look at your wideband since they have everything they need. the only reason my tuner used my gauge for is because i asked abt the accuracy/ difference between what his gauge was reading and what mine was reading. but if you only have 1 bung hole he will just take your sensor out and install his
