Default lost motion assembly

does any one know where i can get a Type R slow motion assembly.

because i was told to use aftermarket cams in a first gen B16 head you had to use Type R slow motion assembly.

LOST motion assembly. Its what the vtec lobe of your camshaft rides on when not engaged, and first generation b16s have horribly designed ones. I'm not sure if ITR ones are necessary, GS-R ones are jsut as good and go for about $240 for a set brand new.

That's not true,you don't need typer LMA's..

But if you need new ones get some from a prelude h22a,they're alot cheaper at the dealship but you have to use .040 hardened washer

Why put an extra washer into your cylinder head just to save some money? buy the correct pieces for your head.

it works just as fine,so why not save money?

some people install a fast forward button. works for VHS, why not VTEC?
