Cdn R's don't have the US emissions decal, but qualify for exemption if they are um 2000 and up I think.. Should be no problem importing them
Check it out here..http://www.epa.gov/otaq/imports/canadian.htm
Remember mine is for sale.. I'll even deliver it! ( yum yum )
01 red seats bla bla bla.. 20,000 miles.. never been raced or modded ( wife's car )
Mike K has driven this car, so you can check it out with him... $23,000 US
Still has the origional tires and clutch, floor mats have never been stepped on...
Ask the Vancouver guy's... it's very clean, and dyno'd at 170 whp

Can that be bought here in NY and would it be possible to hook up?
I like the idea of safety

Umz. We only had red interiors in 2001 and they only came in CW.
oems seat =
i don't think i will buy it anymore since it costs almost the same as buying a u.s itr after importing it...plus no ac=dead in southern california...

Your U.S. Acura dealer might not honor the manufacturer's warranty on the car, since it is technically warranted by Honda Canada, not by Acura Division of American Honda (U.S.).
I bought a canadian R....its a 97 model...its exactly the same as the US except the speedometer have big KM and small Miles.
Also, they have cham white R all years....but we only have it for 97 and 98. Lastly, all 2000 and 2001 canadian R comes with red seats. By the way...AC is optional all years not like us where its standard in 2000 and 2001

Do you mean red Recaros or just red OEM seats? Do CDN ITR's have the 3rd brake light on the bumper?

You sure? I thought the carpets were red too.... EEK!!!
And the red seats look great to us ( The guy's who bought them )
Yea sorry Ddub... The car is going to have to go to make way for some lean business start up years.. The Lotus as well.. ( house is for sale too! )
But I will line up a Cortina for the Cossie motor... and when I sell that I will be able to buy a R again... This time it will be a 97 and I will race it ( I don't mind beating on a used car )...
BVut hey... no worries, I still have the car for now... You missed some good food on sunday...
