i saw these oe replacement upper controll arms on ebay for $70 shipped for the pair. they come with new bushings and ball joints. i need to replace both the bushings and ball joints on my car. bushings are 40 and ball joints would be another 40 or so and then i still have to mess with pressing them in. i was just wondering if any one else had any experience.

I actually bought some a month or so ago and have not driven on them yet. I have to finish up my swap first.

 

I just bought some yesterday. Got the upper control arms w/ ball joints and the lower ball joints for 100 shipped. I have a 89 so I could not press out the old ball joints because they are welded in. I plan to install them as soon as I get them. It sucks because I have a camber kit that attaches to the upper control arm mounts so my alignment will be fucked.

 

I have had those exact ones on my dd for about 1 year now. The bj's seem to be holding up fine but the bushings squeak all the time now. When I first installed them they would only squeak on big bumps or when it was really cold. Now they do it all the time.

Ive learn to just put up with it as punishment for not buying oem .

 

I bought those about 6 months ago. My crx is lowered and they are great. I also had my tracton bar break under heavy breaking and it bent the drivers side upper control arm. No big deal because there a good price.

did your squeak at all?

 

i just bought an upper control arm for $60cnd from a part store.. but i work for a gm dealership so i get them at cost.. haha i lov emy job. i also bought a ball joint for the other side for 20 bucks.. ever part works good.. i assume its the same quality as egay.

yea they did but I don't pay attention to them be cause my car is really noisy.
