Default NEW paint job from MAACO

This is my most recent pics with the stock signals and black lower front grille. I also added the stock mud flaps.

Yes they did a SS with extra clearcoat.

Considering the before pics (I dont have any) they did a great job . My car before had 4 different shades of silver along with a chipped bumper and pitted hood. So I am happy for what I paid for with 4 year full warranty.

What do you guys think?

the quality depends on how much you paid. 600? great job.......2000? ask for a refund.

looks ******* amazing for a maaco job to me. Like they say, it all depends on who you get though. Some maacos employ painters who actually give a ****, others don't. I wouldn't be asking for a refund even if it was $2000, personally.

That is what I am hoping for too, but I had some friends that did the same thing with the SS/extra CC and there cars still look like it just came out of the booth.

This is with proper maintenance on the paint...(wash, wax, etc) regularly.

I still havent even put any wax on my car cause its only been 5 weeks.

How come you didn't get the lip painted as well? Maybe you got it after the job. Looks nice though!

Will the extra clear help the paint last longer?

I would recommend this place to others, but remember you cant expect a decent paint job from there intro level paint service. I went with the SS and added clear because I was on a tight budget.

And before I got it painted there I looked at there work to see how good the painter was. It looked halfway decent for MAACO work. Montclair MAACO.

Tell them James sent you with the silver prelude.

I did have to wetsand a little to get the imperfections out, but for 1000 ill do it everytime. And also make sure to be specific of everything you want fixed. (dings, scratches, etc) Also take off all of your lights, license plate. Pretty much anything that you dont want painted with overspray.

Good luck you guys and thanks for all the 's

I had a car painted by them and it turned out good . I did all the body work and payed them $99 for prep sanding $199 basic paint and then $100 for extra clear . Its not that bad if you get the extra clear . A litle over $430 total . . I wouldnt have it done to a car I was keeping tho . (just from the rumors of fading)
