Default side views, heater/ac, and brake light?

hey. so im havin this problem that jus started after my gauges blew out. my ac/heating control unit stopped working completely and my side views also lost power. i was wonderin what the problem can be. everything still lights up with the control unit ust not the buttons.

have you checked the rc mirror fuse? believe that is what it was called.

yes it was fine but what about heater?

and o ya i had gauges installed and i was usin the fuse box as a power supply and i think i attached positive to the rc/mirror fuse. my gauges burnt out recently so u thin that has anythin to do with it/

I think you need to rewire your gauges. Make your own fues box so you know exactly what is going on. When adding extra equipment to any of my cars, I always put extra fuse boxes up.

the gauges are fried and now my heater and side view mirror switch wont work. im pretty sure the brake lights are bad maybe because of a fuse or bulbs im gonna check everything after school today.

school sucks

ya school gets boring sitting in history now lol. I just say run through every fuse when I got my car ac/heat/mirrors didn't work it was all fuses good luck

ya i think im gonna go get some fuses from pepboys and go through all the fuses in my car

You should figure out what got messed up when they installed the gauges before you go replacing fuses. They're just gonna keep blowing.

lol well im done with the gauges. the connection on the gauge got fried probably cause of too much voltage but i disconnected everything and am not planning to put them back on. right now, all im worried about is getting everything to work again especially the brake lights and heater. gonna go check fuses right now

that was it. blown so replaced and all back to normal.

only thing is the brake light which i can probably search and find the problem or ill jus make a new post

as far as the brake lights go, if your horn also doesn't work then check the fuse underhood for the stop light/horn. If that's good, then check the brake light switch, and if that's good look at your tail lights for coroded connections (water back there?). hope that helps.

It is screwed into the metal around the brake pedal, it detects when you push it down. It is square and black.
