Default :EM Racing C-Pillar Bar: Any feedbacks?

Does anyone here have this bar installed on their lude and what are your experiences? Good or bad? Any noticeable difference (improvements) in hard cornering or handling characteristics of the lude?

I see no improvements other than a bling factor when I installed mine

I had one at one point, I found that I was able to hang more dry cleaning on it than the stock hangers in the back. That was a nice feature.

it's supposed to make the body more rigid and decrease body-roll under hard cornering.

That sounds like a bunch of crap to me, but they do make a nice clothes hanger

(I love using that pic )

But really, if you have the need to remove your rear shelf that is welded in, a C-pillar bar should bring it back to stock rigidity.

AHhAhHAa, that's what it's "supposed" to do, but I can see it's more functional the way you use it. The company states it can withstand a 12,000lb load, so is that 12,000lbs of clothes?

And why would you remove the rear shelf?

Haha, I'll have to load 12k lbs of clothes on it and find out.

I removed the backseats, speakers, interior panels, etc back there and the shelf didn't really have much need to be back there anymore. I guess it was mainly to clean things up back thereand for more room (I can fit a 20 ft ladder in the back). Once I get the interior painted it should look fine, but righ now it looks a little rough

It feels a tad more rigid...but not a whole lot.

Does this bar just go where the seat belts bolt to the c-pillar?? And if so, can you put the seat belts back with the C-pillar bar on?
