Personally, I'm not a fan of APC at all. But has anyone seen or know the quality of their carbon fiber hoods? Do they fit well? Somebody told me that APC makes all the stuff for Xenon. Xenon stuff seems to be pretty good quality. Looking for a CF hood, but I'm really picky on the fitment. I like the VIS, but everyone wants a $1000Cdn for one. Thanks in advance...

 

are you sure that apc makes carbon fiber hoods, cuz in there adds all it says is carbon fiber look hoods. hahahhaa apc is such trash.

 

what does APC one cost in cdn funds cause im down in van for import revolution and could use a new hood

 

I have a VIS CF Hood and it is very very nice. I paid $440 a while ago and I know the price has gone down a lot since then. Maybe not in Canada though.

 

i wouldnt buy a hood from a company that makes c/f hoods for a astro van

 

I am never buying APC, I bought side markers from apc and they were the biggest peices of **** i have ever bought, lol.

 

if i ever order an APC carbon fiber hood i would break it in the driveway and then stab myself to death with the broken pieces.

 

VIS hood for $440 US? That's not bad...but I think the shipping and duty to bring it to Canada is what kills the price...

 

I can get a Fiber Images CF hood for my REX for $700Cdn. I know I can get the APC for similar price, but why bother.

 

I can get APC for around $500 Cdn, but from the sounds of it I am not going to bother. I don't want a hood that doesn't fit or is crappy quality.
