If you search you'll find that I posted a thread about this a month+ back. The mean estimate was around ~$4000 for parts, install, and paint. Find that thread.

Nah, I haven't really looked around much. It's been cracked for a couple years, just hasn't been on the top of my list of priorities. I figured since you're over there maybe you could find something cheaper than $300.

$900 is only for a jdm front with chrome housing lights. if you want non hid black housing lights, they said $1400 and oem HID I am assuming will cost about $1700. I called to verify.

the more time you put in the less money you put out.
i waited and ended up trading mister_rob on h-t my USDM front end in PY for his JDM front end in PY and 1000$ on my end. did the core support swap and wiring myself and saved big on car insurance.
but my other friend ended up shelling out 2800$ for his JDM front on his 96 black GSR. dropped it off at a bodyshop and wrote a check.

i paid 1500 shipped for my JDM ITR nonhid front end from Jhot Imports. and i did the installation.
LS w/ jdm front would be cheaper IMO. you should go with RS(no sunroorf) and do a jdm front. its no ITR but you can make it look like it. have the look of a ITR w/ jdm front and still be cheaper than a itr w/ no jdm front. just my .02 cents

Maybe someone can answer this for me. I've noticed on alot on F/E swaps and it seems to be 2 kinds of bumpers. They pretty much look the same except for the area in the center where a tag can be mounted and then the other is smooth. Different year JDM models?
I prefer the smooth bumper myself. Just think it's looks cleaner. .02$

You might be thinking of BYS... Check this thread.

If not that, then probably just shaved OEM.

yeah thats right. out of all the jdm fronts ive seen on the "DC w/ jdm front thread", I've only seen like 1 or 2 with no license plate mount. and 1 of them was a photoshop. i would think that if you could get a bumper w/ no lic. mount that you would see a lot more around and probably be more popular. but thats just what i think
