You think so? I've been hearing otherwise.

Everything is pretty much set. We just can't get it to idle and work properly with the 880 injectors and the p06 ecu. It seems the TPS has no effect when using the new ecu. No throttle response at all. However, when we use to stock (P13) ecu we get proper throttle response. Here's the weird thing...we can unplug the TPS and we're still able to rev.
It also seems like the 3bar map sensor has no effect on the idle or drivability at all (plugged or not plugged). Yet it's reading proper signal, ground, and 5v. On top of that, it runs fine with the stock injectors and stock ecu...It runs very rich (black smoke) but it runs.
We check continuity from the ecu to the TPS and we're getting continuity. We even tried running wires direct from the TPS straight to the ecu and we turned it while reading the Ohms meter and the numbers are correct...but when we unplug it we're still able to rev...I don't get it?
How is this possible?

Would this be your first boosted honda if you were to get it accomplished? If so, then...patience is virtue....I would just hang tight with it until you DO get it accomplished. Unless you really need to money very badly. If you fold now, you'll regret it especially if you never accomplished something as great as this... I gave up on a turbo civic project I had going a couple of years ago when I was almosted finished with it and I regret it.

Dunno from who, but from my experience id have to completely dissagree. Were not talking potential buyers here are we. lol Esp when a car is not running right!

i think you may either have a bad base map or the base map has not been set to use the GM map sensor, OR its a base map... BASE....you may try hooking it up to your stock MAP, call the person that made that map, or send the computer back have them go over it and make sure every detail is covered as to your set up
actually it sounds like all you need is to get it tuned where the tuner can set/tune all the fuel control properly etc.... and you will be finished.
besides from what i understand you got a ecu from phearable which is only a base map, which does NOT mean it will run good or will be safe for boosting.

Thanks for the response.
So here's where I stand with what you mentioned. I thought the same exact things you did. I've returned the ecu to phearable before, and told them what the issue was. They told me that they tested it out and everything should've worked. They even said they created a new base map and leaned it out a bit b/c I told them how rich I was running with the 880s. Got it back, same thing.
I've taken it to my tuner, and he used his very own ecu and software to try and start the car with the 880s...no success. Car wouldn't even start. We've pulled a couple of codes (TPS, IAT, ECT, and vtec pressure switch). All of which seemed to be fine before. I never had a check engine for none of the above before.
The map sensor at first was reading 28lbs of boost on his laptop. Strange that it would do that and it's a brand new map sensor. We even swapped out the map for another and it read 28lbs of boost. We squared that away though...it's reading properly now.
Any input is welcomed

Dude you dont love your HONDA, wth is wrong with you. Dont sell it im sure somebody will be able to help you out. Im really not familier with your ems but it sounds like that is your problem. You dont have a conversion harness by any chance. which i dont think you should.
well you should try to sell the car for how much you are trying to get and then if nobody wants it for x amount you should try to part it out but my opinion is just fix the problem and keep it as ur dd
