Default Will D15B8 cams work in the D15B7?

Someone asked me that question but I wasn't sure of the answer. They are both D series so in theory (and reality) most series engine's cams are interchangeble unless they have quite a bit of difference. Considering th B8 only has 8 valves and the B7 16 valves will swapping the cams work vice versa?(D15B7 cams in D15B8 and D15B8 cams in D15B7?
Thanks

no.

B8 cam into B7 = only 1/2 the valves would open.

So maybe you can swap a B7 cam in and open up 8 extra imaginary valves on a B8?

Good to see you Mista Bone.

Well, due to only working 1/2 the valves, the B8 has bigger lobes. I've always wanted to have the B8 profile on a D16A6 cam just to see. Might be a job for Web
