Default Simple question: can VAFC be used to tune a nonVTEC motor?

I'm currently learning about tuning, but at the moment I can pick up a VAFC for next to nothing. I'm running a p75 on my b20, and wondered if I could use a VAFC. I know theoretically I am running 11% less fuel at some points with the p75 (LS ECU).
Any words of wisdom is appreciated. Thanks.

yes,the vtec program just wont serve a purpose. AFC's are all wired to do the same thing, hack the map sensor.
