Default cylinder scuff...

well this looks like a possible burn mark from the piston on my cylinder wall. i cant feel it with my nail so it should be good. the helm manual says not to hone the cylinder walls unless there are scratches you can catch your nail on. also the cross hatch still looks great. what should i do?

specs: d16y8 with edelbrock turbo kit.

i'm not to sure what would cause that, but it almost looks like the piston pin or skirt was "slapping" the wall, at TDC every time it would go back down.

how does piston slap start? i going to my machine shop soon to have it honed. then mic checked. until then...
