Default Wheel/Tire/suspension? (upgrade)

My accord now sits with a 2.25" drop in front and 2.00" drop in rear and I have AGX's. I have on 15" OEM wheels and the standard 195/60/15 tires. I want to upgrade to a 17" wheel with 215/45/17,or would 215/40/17 be more appropriate?

anyway my question is: If I upgrade wheels without changing over to coilovers how will my ride height be affected? I do not have the cash to change up my springs/shocks. I want my tires to be flush with the wheel well.

any ideas or pics of a 5th accord gen on H&R race springs and 17" wheels?

Thanks

pics of your car now might help.

If you have some gap now and you want to get rid of it w/o changing springs and shocks, then you would have to get larger diameter tires. That will lessen fender gap, BUT it will also raise the entire car as well, making it actually ride higher.

In addition, I would recommend sticking with a 205/45-17 tire as it is the closest in diameter to the stock 195/60-15.

That's what I thought, and was affriad of. I think I might go with ground controls matched to my AGX's. I want to go koni yellows but I can't afford that and wheels/tires at one time. I waited long enough for larger wheels.

Thanks
