Default rear camber on ITR w/ stock springs + bilstein shocks

What does everyone run? I have a camber kit and set it at -1.40 rear and it seems good but that is the absolute max according to the allowance from the mechanic. I was trying to eliminate the excessive oversteer I was experiencing. So if people would post what their rear camber is set at on their R , it would be great. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Thomas

How are you getting oversteer with the stock suspension? Something doesn't sound right......

What tires are you running? What tire pressures? Under what driving situation are you experiencing "too much oversteer"

Read this first: (a good article btw)

Thomas, with your suspension setup, oversteer was likely caused by tire pressures... Did you have this problem at Buttonwillow?

settings? I thought they were self adjusting? are you talking about the ride height? I noticed a small drop maybe .25 or so, but I Just installed them with the collar all the same on each shock. BTW, -1.4 camber in the rear is still within specs, but I was wondering if the tire would wear quick because I have azenis and want it to wear evenly.

1.4 deg is fine, your tires will last a long time still.

what kind of kit do you have? 1.4 deg is the max it physically allows?

the brand is some generic brand called GSR, but what I meant was that the alignment machine specified that anymore would be out of stock ITR specs. The kit allows for i believe +/-3 degrees if i remember correctly. So i just set it at that so i could try to make the alignment close to factory specs if not just a little negative. Remember my car was lowered before and now has stock suspension back on so therefore that is why I have a camber kit. I just never took it off in the rear. Thanks for the info guys, I think i'll just leave it at that setting and see how my tires like it. Hopefully it won't wear out too fast.
